Question

I'm an applicant to UC Davis and I need some help with my account.

Overview

We've compiled a list of questions that we receive every year from incoming students to UC Davis. Though not every possible scenario is covered, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions below.

Answer

If you're still having login troubles, please contact IT Express: iet.ucdavis.edu/support

Please understand that IT Express is only able to assist with account creation and passphrase reset issues.

If you have issues once you're logged into My Admissions or you need to modify admissions information you will need to contact Undergraduate Admissions or the departments directly. Please see Additional Resources for Admitted Students for some of those departments.

I'm trying to set up an account for my child; why can't you help me?

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that prevents us from assisting you. Read more about FERPA. If you're not familiar with the law please refer to this URL -

http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/ferpa/index.html

Understand that even if your child is under 18-years old this Federal law still applies to them and our inability to assist you.
