Question

How do I connect to the eduroam wireless network from my Android device?

Overview

Follow these instructions to configure your Android device to use the eduroam wireless network. You can do this before arriving to the UC Davis campus if you have an active UCD computing account.

Answer

  1. On your Android device, go to the Play Store and search for "geteduroam".
  2. Tap Install.
  3. Once installed, open the app and proceed to Select your Institution
  4. Search for "Davis" or University of California, Davis and select
  5. Select, Next
  6. Enter in the Username (loginID@ucdavis.edu) and Password (Passphrase)
  7. Select Connect To Network

Log in with the following settings:

The eduroam entry should now display Connected.

If your device is running Android 13, you may need to use the "geteduroam" app from the Play store instead of "eduroam CAT".
