How do I setup my Outlook 2011 (for Mac) client for uConnect?
Overview
uConnect is the on-premise Exchange solution for email hosted by IET. For more information about the service, visit the uConnect support page.
Answer
- Open Outlook.
- Click on Tools and select Accounts...
- Click on the button next to Exchange Account.
- Enter your Exchange account information.
- E-Mail address: UC Davis email address
- Method: User Name and Password
- User name: Kerberos LoginID
- Password: Kerberos Passphrase
- Uncheck box for Configure automatically
- Server: owa.ucdavis.edu
- Click Add Account.
- Click on Advanced...
- Server: owa.ucdavis.edu
- Check the box for Use SSL to connect
Directory service

- Server: ad3.ucdavis.edu
- Check the box for Log in with exchange credentials
Click OK and close any remaining setup windows.
