How to manually verify UC Davis SSL certificate presented by a website?
Overview
If your browser displays a certificate warning dialog box, the SSL certificate is unlikely to be valid, and you should not proceed to enter any sensitive information, such as personal information ID numbers or passwords.
If such a warning dialog is displayed when connecting to a UC Davis website, you should contact IT Express for assistance and information.

- Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar near the top of the browser window.
- Click on the Certificate (Valid) section
