ServiceNow users can change their ServiceNow notification preferences.
1. Log into ServiceNow and click your profile picture at the top-right of the screen, then click Preferences.
2. Select the Notifications option.
3. On the General Settings tab, you can enable and disable notifications by toggling the Allow Notifications setting.
- Blue and to the right indicates active, grey and to the left indicates inactive.
4. You can enable or disable delivery channels.
- Each delivery channel notification category is toggleable.
- You can further customize your notifications by clicking on the drop down menus on certain Delivery Channel categorizes.
5. Click Next Experience to toggle Show Banners, Show Badge Count, and the Notification toast banner location.
To disable Incident notifications that go to all Assignment Group members when the Assigned To field is empty:
1. Open the notification preferences following steps 1 -2 above
2. Click on Advanced Preferences.
3. In the Search field, type ITIL Group.
4. Slide the toggle on ITIL Group: Incident Commented to the left to disable this notification.
