How do I update passphrase challenge questions?

Overview

Passphrase challenge questions can be used to reset your UC Davis Computing Account passphrase. The instructions listed below will outline the process of updating these questions.

Answer

Note: Your kerberos passphrase will be required to update your passphrase challenge questions.

1. Go to http://accounts.ucdavis.edu.
2. Click Update passphrase challenge questions.
3. Enter your information, and click Submit Information.
4. Select two predefined questions and provide your answers in the corresponding fields to the right of each question.
5. Create a Final Challenge Question and a corresponding Final Challenge Answer.
6. Enter your Kerberos passphrase and click Continue.
7. Confirm your new passphrase challenge questions, then click Continue.
