How do I remove a saved wireless network on my Mac?
Overview
When you connect to a wireless network, the network’s security information, settings, and credentials are, by default, automatically stored on your system in the form of a wireless network profile. This profile allows the system to connect automatically the next time this wireless network is in range. If you have a wireless network profile on your device but are experiencing issues with the network, removing the wireless network profile and reconnecting to the network can correct simple issues that may be causing the problem.

How to remove a saved wireless network on macOS
- Click the Apple Logo icon and select System Settings…
- Select Wi-Fi. Click Advanced…
- In the window that opens, on the Wi-Fi tab, select the network you wish to remove in the Known Networks list and click the "..." button.
- After selecting the profile you wish to remove click the remove button.
- Click Done to close the Wi-Fi settings window.
