Question
I am thinking of using iClicker Cloud in my class. What information and support documentation is available?
Overview
iClicker is the UC Davis supported system since 2011. The newest instructor version, iClicker Cloud, allows instructors to enable students use of the student app, which can be accessed via iOS and Android devices or by signing in on a Web browser. You can download iClicker Cloud here: https://www.iclicker.com/downloads/iclicker-cloud/
Note that as of Fall 2020, the UC Davis Bookstore acquired a campus-wide license for all students to use the iClicker Student App at no cost.
iClicker Cloud allows instructors to let students use
- only the iClicker student app
- only the traditional student remote*
- both the traditional student remote and the iClicker student app*
* Because you are going to allow students to use the traditional student remote, you will need an iClicker instructor kit that includes the base and instructor remote. You need to order those from iClicker, so please email Melissa O'Brien directly at melissa.obrien@macmillan.com.
Answer
Make sure to download iClicker Cloud: https://www.iclicker.com/downloads/iclicker-cloud/
