Who do I contact for technology support, track my requests and find answers online first?

Overview

Support for users is provided by the primary department for their appointment. You can find a listing of most IT Departments on campus below. 
Support is not provided based on location or building as multiple units can be housed in one building or campus or remote area.
If you have an urgent request, you can call the departmental IT's Service Desk if they have a public facing phone number listed here for assistance as most of those teams that are in ServiceNow are assisting users and do not have people watching UCD Slack groups. 

The Service Hub is where you'll find access to:
Find Answers to search the Knowledge Base and find answers,
Get Services the Service Catalog to get access to services,
and My Stuff where users can track ServiceNow tickets, view Approvals and Assets and few Favorites. The best way to ask for a update on a ServiceNow ticket is be responding to it either via email or the Service Hub's My Stuff link.
Head to servicehub.ucdavis.edu to see the ticket status for those within the UC Davis main campus instance for units who use ServiceNow.

Please note: emailing the unit's specific email address is the most effective way to make sure you are addressing the Service Desk you intended on communicating with. 
The address "ucdservicedesk@ucdavis.edu" is a system email and should not be used as it does not deliver to individual units.

Not every department or user uses the main campus Zoom instance. Additionally, support is provided by the departmental IT service desks for most requests.
