ServiceNow users can change their ServiceNow notification preferences.
1. Log into ServiceNow and click your profile picture at the top-right of the screen, then click Preferences.
2. Select the Notifications option.
3. Click Core UI
4. Choose the appropriate notification category, then select the notification type.
- Each choice is a slide toggle.
- Blue and to the right indicates active, grey and to the left indicates inactive.
5. To apply conditions to the notifications, such as schedules and filters, click the right arrow button to the right of the toggle switch.
To disable Incident notifications that go to all Assignment Group members when the Assigned To field is empty:
1. Open the notification preferences following steps 1 -3 above
2. In the Search field, type ITIL Group
3. Select ITIL Group: Incident Commented
4. Slide the toggle to the left to disable this notification
