Question

How do I delete Web CMS log messages?

Overview

Whenever assets are published to your development or production server, the process generates a log message detailing the information pertinent to that particular publish instance. That's the good part.

The bad part? Those log messages can really add up.

In the current version of Cascade CMS there is no mechanism to automate the deletion of the log messages for you. What that means is you need to periodically delete the log messages yourself.

Answer

To delete the log messages:

  1. Click on the Home button in the main menu to view your dashboard.
  2. From the dashboard, click on the Messages tab, the Messages title, or the View all ### messages link.
  3. When the Message list appears, highlight all, then scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click Delete all Messages.
