Question

How do I remove the gold bars in Web CMS?

Overview

Mysterious gold bars have appeared, not unlike crop circles overnight in a farm field. They run horizontally and are about 3 to 5 pixels in width. There could be just one, but there could also be more. What are they and, more importantly, how do you get rid of them?

The gold bars are relics from Spotlight blocks, which may have been used at one point, but then were removed except for perhaps some single empty character space.

Answer

To remove:

  1. Edit the page where the gold bars appear.
  2. Open each repeating content block's Spotlight section and carefully highlighting and deleting any spaces that might still be registering in the available fields (Title, Anchor, and Spotlight content).
  3. Click Submit to save your edits and then view the page. The gold bars should now be gone.
