Manage Zoom Phone Call Handling Settings
- Navigate to zoom web portal via the link - https://ucdavis.zoom.us/profile
- In the left menu, click on Phone.
- Ensure that you are on the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the Call Handling section.
- Click the Edit link next to Business Hours and select your desired business hours (e.g. custom)
- Click the Edit link next to Call Handling and enable the Zoom applications slider if you want your zoom application to receive calls.
- Select the dropdown menu under Call Handling Ring Mode to specify the Call Handling Ring Mode.
- Select the dropdown menu under Max Wait Time to specify the Max Wait Time.
- Select the dropdown menu under When I'm Busy on Another Call to specify a call waiting feature.
- Select the dropdown menu under When a Call is Not Answered to specify a forward, message, or disconnect feature.
- If applicable, check the Allow Callers to Reach an Operator checkbox and select an operator type (e.g. user) and then search by name or extension number.
- Click the Edit link under the Greeting & Leave voicemail instruction to set up a greeting.
- Click the Manage link next to Holiday List & Call Handling to add holidays.
Specify Call Handling Ring Mode
- Navigate to zoom web portal via the link - https://ucdavis.zoom.us/profile
- On the left panel of the zoom web portal, click Phone.
- Click Settings and scroll down to the "Call Handling" section.
- Click Edit hyperlink next to Business Hours field.
- Once Call Handling pop up is displayed, confirm the toggle is turned on for all platform and devices that the user wants to ring when receiving the call.
- Zoom phone won’t ring for the device or platform that is turned off on this pop up.
