Question
If myucdavis is down, how do I access the services I normally get from the site?
Overview
The myucdavis service provides connections to several services that can also be accessed directly. In a case where one of the necessary back-end process for myucdavis has failed or is unavailable due to maintenance many services within myucdavis may still be reachable. For example the myucdavis service is heavily dependent on Banner and if Banner is unavailable myucdavis will also be unavailable.
Answer
Banner/SISWeb
Most student information available in myucdavis comes from Banner and the Student Information System which can also be accessed directly at https://sisweb.ucdavis.edu
Canvas
You can access Canvas course sites directly at https://canvas.ucdavis.edu
If Banner is unavailable, you will still be able to access Canvas course sites but roster, class location, and Instructor of Record changes will not be reflected until Banner is available.
Directory information
Email and telephone number information can also be found at https://directory.ucdavis.edu
If you are using Davismail you can access your email directly at https://davismail.ucdavis.edu
If the Central Authentication Service (CAS) is experiencing an issue, you will not able to access myucdavis or Davismail, but you may still be able to use a smartphone mail app or computer email program to access Davismail. For setup instructions, see DavisMail First Time Setup.
If you are using Office 365 you can access your email directly at https://office365.ucdavis.edu
OASIS Student Advising
If Banner is unavailable, in some circumstances you will still be able to access OASIS Student Advising, but if you are able to access OASIS features including transcript generation, live record refresh, and updates to Banner from finalized petitions will be unavailable.
Students and Staff can access the OASIS Student Advising system directly at https://students.ucdavis.edu/enter.aspx
